The Hardee County Detention Facility’s Medical Department is operated and staffed by two (2) full-time Licensed Practical Nurses, one (1) Certified Nursing Assistant and overseen by a contracted Health Authority.

The Detention Facility’s Nurses and Contracted Health Authority provide professional medical care to inmates through medical screenings, formal sick-call procedures, doctor call and daily nurse rounds.
