ONLINE SHOPPING - Ebay and Craig's List

Recently we have experienced an increase in the number of reported thefts as a result of transactions on Ebay or Craig’s List. These cases are very difficult to handle due to the fact that many originate from outside the United States.

 Craig’s List has posted on their website a link off to the left that reads, “avoid scams.” This is a very informative link on their site that could help prevent you from being a victim.

 Ebay has a program called Ebay buyer protection that is on their website. Reading over this may give you some advise on how to safety buy and sell on Ebay.
